Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world’s best climbing gear. Patagonia's Classic Retro-X Jacket features a windproof membrane bonded between a 100% recycled polyester deep-pile fleece exterior and a moisture-wicking mesh lining, engineered to deliver maximum thermal warmth, full wind resistance, and low-friction layering comfort in harsh weather.
