Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world’s best climbing gear. The 5in Baggies Shorts are made from lightweight, quick-drying recycled nylon with a 5-inch inseam, mesh pockets, and an elastic waistband for comfort and versatility in and out of the water.
