Epokhe - New Zealand
Founded in 2010 by pro surfers Dion Agius and Mitch Coleborn along with film producer Kai Neville, Epokhe is a boutique eyewear brand that references vintage styles while injecting them with a modern, minimal twist. It started a few years after the three of them worked on the film Modern Collective, before deciding they wanted to work on something they had total control of.
More than just an eyewear brand, Epokhe is a movement that supports the people within it. Through its campaigns, its website, athletes, brand ambassadors and upcoming projects, Epokhe aims to support up and coming photographers, filmmakers, artists, designers, boutique surf stores and musicians.
Epokhe focuses on fashion, fit and function with each pair of sunglasses designed in Byron Bay and handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans. The shades are made from raw acetate with quality ZEISS lenses – which are amongst some of the best in the world – and offer 100% protection against the sun’s harmful rays. Epokhe works closely with its manufacturers to ensure the frames fit not only when you first try them on, but are comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
A stylish investment that will reward you season after season, Epokhe’s sunglasses have a very classic feel that will transcend trends and stand the test of time. Browse through THE ICONIC’s edit of this covetable eyewear range to find a pair that best suit your style.
