The Niacinamide 5% Face and Body Emulsion by The Ordinary is a lightweight emulsion for face and body, to help even the appearance of skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots.

What it does
Niacinamide 5% Face and Body Emulsion is a multi-functional formula that helps fade the look of dark spots on the face and body, for a more even-looking skin tone. Tested on all skin tones, it targets the appearance of dark spots across the face, neck, chest and arms - key areas prone to uneven skin tone—for a more uniform tone across face and body.
It incorporates a 5% concentration of niacinamide for sensitive skin, and offers gentle skin brightening. In addition, the serum-textured formulation also helps improve the feel of skin texture across the face, chest and legs, while hydrating and strengthening the skin barrier, and promoting smoother skin.
Testing shows
- Helps fade visible dark spots on face and body in 3 weeks
- Visibly evens skin tone across face and body in 3 weeks
