Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world’s best climbing gear. The Down With It Parka has a 100% recycled shell that's insulated with warm 600-fill-power 100% Recycled Down, made from a blend of duck and goose down and waterfowl feathers reclaimed from down products, and a removable, insulated hood.

- Recycled taffeta treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS to shed light moisture

- Chevron-inspired baffles create a modern silhouette with princess seams in the front and back for shaping and an insulating, contoured fit
- Removable, three-panel hood secures to the parka with sturdy plastic snaps and is insulated for additional warmth
- Two-way front zipper with a covered placket and hidden plastic snaps
- Twin welt handwarmer pockets sit next to the princess seams and have secure zipper closures; knee length for exceptional warmth
