BURLY was founded by two mates over a couple beers and a deep heart-to-heart chat between blokes, which is an unfortunately rare occurrence even in contemporary society. Too often, opening up about your personal struggles in life is seen as unmanly and hence, remain in the dark. With the scarily high rate of male suicide, things need to change. Proudly supporting beyondblue, BURLY aspire to breakdown that taboo by using their brand as an engine to promote good mental health among fellas.

Getting together with barbers around the country, the founding friends created a beard grooming range that barbers would use day-in-day out, be proud to have on their shelves and ultimately lead to customers leaving their chair feeling like they have someone to talk to.
